So You Want to Art?
All of the tutorials, references, artwork, etc. featured here were not created by me. This is just an area for people to find anything related to helping others improve their art skills.
Please do not hesitate to submit or notify me of resources and tutorials for anything relating to art you can imagine will help people in their improvement of art. Since art is such a subjective and vague term, this can mean anything from writing to cosplay to cooking to even home construction.

bloodsbane:

art tip: its good to switch between brushes, but imo don’t force yourself to try new styles of doing things if you aren’t in the mood for ‘em. if you wanna use the pen tool, do it! if you’re feeling something like a paintbrush or marker tool instead, try using those! you should always go for what’s most fun or comfortable at the time, but remember, you don’t have to stick to things if you feel like you’re in a rut! experiment when you want, even if it goes against your usual ‘brand’. going with what feels right at the time is almost always gonna help you get your art flow going, and you’ll usually be happier with what you end up doing. that’s been my experience, anyway~
